Ananya Panday, who was in Lucknow recently, can’t help but be excited about her besties Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor making their debut in films. Ananya (Chunky Panday’s daughter), Suhana (Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter) and Shanaya (Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter) are childhood friends. Shanaya marks her debut in films with Shashank Khaitan’s Bedhadak, while Suhana’s first film is with Zoya Akhtar.

The three BFFs, whom Ananya often refers to as Charlie’s Angels in her posts on social media, often hang out together. Ananya and Suhana have also been school mates. Calling Shanaya her soulmate and Suhana her little sister, the Pati, Patni Aur Woh actress talks to us about her equation with her BFFs and says they are her sounding boards and ones who keep her grounded.

With her besties Suhana and Shanaya making their debut, Ananya says it’s always been a collective dream oftheirs to be actors. “While growing up we used to play these acting games. It was always our dream to be actors. We just wanted that,” says Ananya, adding that films would be a prominent part of their conversations, even as kids. “It (films and acting) has been more of a conversation between the three of us.”

But Ananya, who is more experienced than her two friends in the industry, says she considers herself too new in the industry to start doling out advice or tips to her BFFs. “I have just started out myself. This is my third year in the industry, so I’m really nobody to give them advice, but we always talk and having conversations about it. In fact, I ask them about tips and advice. But it’s more free-flowing that way between us. I’m just so proud of them both,” she says.
