DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS had an excellent second day of around 26 crore nett taking its two day total to 54 crore nett plus. There is a drop on day two in mass pockets but overall collections remain excellent.

It will the highest three day weekend for Hollywood post the pandemic as SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME had a Thursday release which lead to a bigger drop on day two. The collections on the first day were pretty much similar to SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME in the Hindi circuits with some circuits scoring higher numbers.

The shortfall came in the South especially Nizam/Andhra and Tamil Nadu. The former was 3.25 crore nett against the 5 crore nett of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME and the latter was 2.1 crore nett against the 3.50 crore nett of the Tom Holland-starrer. Mumbai was better than SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME with 6.85 crore nett as against the 6.50 crore nett of SPIDER-MAN.
