RRR (Hindi) had excellent collections in week two with 74.50 crore nett to have a 206 crore nett total in two weeks. The second week drop is just 43% which is a superb trend for a mass film like RRR. The hold could have been even better but Ramazan started and there was a fall in many pockets.

Generally Ramazan has not affected many films in recent history but that is because there has not been a release doing so well in mass pockets in recent history like RRR. The film was showing phenomenal collection in cities of UP, Bihar and Gujarat before the start of Ramazan. They are still very good but there is a drop off.

The two week number of THE KASHMIR FILES was 204 crore nett and so it is ahead of that. At the same time, the problem is that it will struggle to match THE KASHMIR FILES in week four due to the new releases. So it has to do better than the film in week three if it is to catch it. Basically the third Friday has to show no drop or a limited drop. The film is SUPERHIT and the second biggest HIT of 2022 after THE KASHMIR FILES.
