THE KASHMIR FILES went up another step on Tuesday as it collected 17.50 crore nett apprx taking its five day number to 59 crore nett. The momentum of the film is crazy and this film is going to dominate the box office for sometime to come.

The numbers are simply extraordinary all over but its the core Hindi belts which are at another level, from the Northern states to Central states to Gujarat. The business is also extraordinary in Mumbai and South but comparatively it is less. There has never been a film to have such trending in the multiplex era and it will only get better.

The question now is when will hit that 20 crore nett mark. It can be today but if not, then there is a very good chance tomorrow and by chance if Thursday has not hit 20 crore nett, then Friday it will be there as its a holiday. The sort of momentum it is gaining and the drive to get people to watch this film it will be no surprise if it also gets a 30 crore nett day over the weekend. ALL TIME RECORDS should start to fall from Friday onward unless this momentum and curiosity to watch subsides and that looks very unlikely at the moment.
