THE KASHMIR FILES collected 15 crore nett on its first Monday which is extraordinary and the same number as Sunday. The collection is nearly five times more than its first day and collections of the film till date is 41.50 crore nett. 

The film made good gains on Monday at metros and some other bigger cities as compared to Sunday but mass belts saw a drop as compared to Sunday. This is being compared to Sunday so be it drop or gain it is phenomenal either way. The outperformance over Saturday and Sunday had come in the circuits but on Monday it was metros. This is probably because the release is settled now while Saturday and Sunday saw increasing shows. Both the drivers of this insane growth over the weekend (UP and Gujarat were down on Monday as compared to Sunday).

THE KASHMIR FILES is on its way to create history and will become the second small film after JAI SANTOSHI MAA (1975) to join the list of ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTERS. It still remains to be seen where the first week will finish but if it today it shows a normal weekday trend then maybe a judgement can be made but momentum is with the film and it will be no surprise if Tuesday goes higher.
