THE KASHMIR FILES had an extraordinary second week of 109.50 crore nett making it the third highest second week of all time. The film has seen drops from Tuesday onward but these are from the pace it was going at before. If we take out how the film went for the first 10-11 days then these drops are normal.
The collections of the film are now 205 crore nett after 2 weeks and although that 300 crore nett mark looks a step too far now it still has chances to reach the 275 crore nett. But a lot depends on what happens on Saturday and Sunday and even how RRR fares on the weekend. Despite the lower business towards the end of week two, it will still do strong numbers in the third week.
The film has seen a phenomenal run putting it up there with the top three films of all time in terms of the cost against against theatrical returns. The other two are JAI SANTOSHI MAA (1975) and HUM AAPKE HAI KOUN
The collections of THE KASHMIR FILES till date are as follows.
First Week - 96,14,00,000
Friday - 19,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 25,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 26,50,00,000 apprx
