THE KASHMIR FILES saw a drop of around 15% on Wednesday as it collected around 8.25 crore nett. The film has seen noticeable drops over the last two days and the pace is slowing now but it is slowing from very high numbers. So, despite the drops, the daily numbers are still outstanding.
The film has now collected 102 crore nett in week two making it the third film to go over 100 crore nett in second week after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and DANGAL. It has also become the highest grosser post the pandemic as it beats the 195 crore nett plus number of SOORYAVANSHI.
THE KASHMIR FILES stands at 198 crore nett and will end the week with a 205 crore nett plus total. The third Friday should give an idea as to where this film will finish up. The 300 crore nett mark is looking tough now but there will be a couple of quite weeks in terms of competition once RRR is released and out of the way.
The collections of THE KASHMIR FILES till date are as follows.
First Week - 96,14,00,000
Friday - 19,75,00,000 apprx
