THE KASHMIR FILES saw its first noticeable drop on the second Tuesday but it still collected a huge number of 10 crore nett plus. This has taken the film to 190 crore nett and it will surpass SOORYAVANSHI today to become the highest grosser post the pandemic.

The drop on Tuesday means the 300 crore nett mark is not assured now like it looked over the weekend as the film will face huge competition this week with RRR. It cannot afford to have another drop like yesterday over the next two days if it is to reach 300 crore nett.

Last week there was BACHCHHAN PAANDEY but THE KASHMIR FILES went into that clash with rising collections. But this week is looking more normal weekday trending and so the bigger release should compete better. The makers of RRR will also be looking closely at the collections of this film as they also cant afford to see this film doing 15-20 crore nett totals on Saturday and Sunday if they are to achieve their minimum targets.

Although it does not really matter if the film reaches 300 crore nett as its still a historic BLOCBUSTER be it 275 or 300 crore nett but the 300 crore nett mark does make good reading in the record books.

The collections of THE KASHMIR FILES till date are as follows.
