With the shoot of Tiger 3 in its last leg, we hear that Salman Khan will soon turn his attention to Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The superstar is expected to kick off work on Farhad Samji’s directorial venture in the first week of April. The director intends to begin with a bang — sources say the shoot will commence with Khan’s entry sequence that involves a helicopter chase.

“The production team has locked the shoot date as April 1, with Salman joining in the same week. The first sequence is a massive action set-piece for which the stunt directors have been summoned. It will be shot at Helipad in Film City, Goregaon,” reveals a source.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s production, also featuring Pooja Hegde and Zaheer Iqbal, has already booked the December 30 window for release. The film reportedly sees Khan portraying the eldest brother in the family who refuses to get married, believing it will disrupt the harmony.

“It is being envisioned as a slick action drama. The film’s scale will be much more lavish compared to Salman and Sajid’s last collaboration, Kick [2014]. The team wants to finish all action scenes before moving to the emotional bits,” adds the source.
