Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt reached Varanasi on Monday evening for the patch work of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. Twinning in white, Alia was spotted wearing a white crop top while Ranbir was in an oversized white shirt. The duo was seen exiting the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport.

This is the third time the couple is visiting the city in connection with the film’s shoot. They had earlier shot some scenes in June and December in 2019. A dance sequence was shot at Guleria Ghat during their previous visit.

Shooting of the remaining portion began on Tuesday morning. Ranbir and Alia reached Guleria Kothi from where they boarded a boat that carried them into the middle of the Ganga. The huge expanse of the river formed the backdrop of the shoot. Ayan Mukerji was also spotted on the boat. Alia was seen throwing a garland towards Ranbir as part of the scene.

Later, a dance sequence was shot in the lane adjacent to Guleria Ghat. As news of the shooting spread, several reached the location to catch a glimpse of the actors.
