Uncharted Movie Review: A passable origins story that fails to match the game's calibre
Box Office India Trade Network

BADHAAI DO saw a decent hold on its second Friday as it dropped around 5% from the previous day to collect 70-75 lakhs nett takings overall collections to around 12.50 crore nett. This should enable the film to get some fair second week numbers and they could be higher than many of the films released in the post Coronavirus era.

The lifetime number for the film should be around 17-18 crore nett which is not good but is far better compared to a film on CHANDIGARH KARE AASHIQUI which did 22 crore nett but was a bigger film with higher expectations. Both films had a similar theme and hopefully this would be the end of these type of films from the Hindi film industry as the public will always prefer movies on normal human relationships and not same sex relationships.

There was another Hindi release PYAAR MEIN THODA TWIST on a few cinemas here or there but found no audience.

The Hollywood film UNCHARTED did decent business on day one raking up 1.50 crore nett. There was no expectations from this film but the film has managed to get a number similar to BADHAAI DO on day one. The film is based on a video game but the reports are not too good in the West. However, it managed to find a healthy audience in the metros of India.

UNCHARTED has Tom Holland and this may have helped a little as he is known for playing Spider-Man. So, that little bit of face value may have aided the collections of the film.
