New Delhi: Actor Juhi Chawla got relief from Delhi High Court which on Thursday expunged remarks against her in connection with a plea challenging the roll out of 5G wireless networks in the country.
A bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Jasmeet Singh also reduced the costs imposed by a single judge on Juhi Chawla from Rs 20 lakhs to Rs 2 lakhs, agreeing with her stand that she did not take up the 5G in a “frivolous and casual manner”.
The bench, however, indicated to Chawla that a litigant must use his or her own intelligence while filing documents in court. Sharing an old instance, Justice Sanghi said, “'Acha wakil bhi kismat se milta hai’ (You get a good lawyer by luck). Sometimes you land up in the wrong hands.”
