SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME saw a drop in collections in Wednesday as it collected 8.25-8.50 crore nett to take its seven day first week total to 139 crore nett. This is the highest first week total seen in India post the pandemic though the Telugu film PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 will be more than this as the six day figure of that film is more.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME will now end with an extended eight day first week total in the 146-147 crore nett range. The drop has come on day seven; so hopefully the collections will be steady on day eight as the film has been accepted, especially in the metros.

The film is sure to give competition to '83 on Saturday and Sunday as both compete for the same audience. These two days will be crucial if it is to cross the 200 crore nett mark.

In a weird scenario, PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) is now beating SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME in a few of the Hindi circuits but shockingly, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME is recording better numbers than PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 in some cinemas of Hyderabad which is the biggest city for Telugu films.
