PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) continued with solid collections on Wednesday as it collected 3.50 crore nett. The collections on day six are still higher than day one. The Hindi version has also become the highest contributor on an all India version as the original film is now collecting less in Nizam/Andhra.

The Hindi version continues to score excellent collections in Maharashtra and Gujarat and Mumbai circuit will hit 10 crore nett over the week. The collections in CP Berar which also forms many cities from Maharashtra is extraordinary and will close the week at around 3 crore nett. This is already higher than all films released post the pandemic except SOORYAVANSHI.

There will be some sort of drop on Friday and that will determine where the film will land. PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 has also collected a further 2.75 crore nett in Telugu in Hindi circuits which gives it a 26 crore nett total from Hindi circuits in six days. The Telugu version is now giving limited collections and will hardly have collections in week two.

The Telugu film PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 has seen falling collections since Tuesday although the total is still huge at 144 crore nett in six days. The film is now doing almost 50% of its business in the Hindi circuits as the performance in South comes done fast.

This film saw a huge drop in collections in its home market on Tuesday and there was no coming back from that as although the weekend business was strong, it was not good enough for this film. There were ticket pricing issues but that hardly mattered when the film came down on Tuesday as the problem was appreciation. The film has fared better in Karnataka/Mysore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala but collections there have also been falling on the weekdays.

It will be business from the Hindi version that has turned out to be the plus factor and will be driving the business now. But even here, the appreciation in mainly in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Odisha while others are generally holding with low collections. The fact that the film is on a huge run in Maharashtra and Gujarat can mean good collections for the next few weeks.
