Spider-Man: No Way Home Is Ruling The Box Office And How
Box Office India Trade Network

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME recorded an outstanding four day weekend of 108 crore nett with a strong performance all over the country especially in the South. The best performing market from the Hindi circuits was Delhi/UP as it clocked up around 18.50 crore nett. The numbers in Mumbai circuit were held back a little by Maharashtra due to the 50% occupancy rule which meant Mumbai city and Pune city were not at optimum pace.

West Bengal also saw outstanding figures and so did East Punjab and both these circuits look on pace to surpass the business of SOORYAVANSHI. SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME had around 35% of its business come from South India over the weekend but on day one it was over 40%. The huge drop in Nizam/Andhra on day two when PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 released made a dent into the business from the South. Nizam/Andhra had started with an all time record on day one for Hollywood releases.

It is now about the hold on Monday and the target will be to remain in double digits as then the film can benefit next Saturday and Sunday as its a holiday weekend which will ensure good second week numbers. The film also tore apart all post pandemic box-office records across the world as it collected around $600 million. Not only post pandemic, but even before that there are only one or two films which can compete with these sort of opening numbers in the history of Hollywood. The India contribution to the worldwide number was around 3%.
