'83 (Hindi) has collected around 15.50-16 crore nett on Saturday with growth being around the 30% range which is not good enough for a national holiday and on top, the first day was not so good for a huge film like this.

This takes the two day business of the film to 28 crore nett apprx which is also a low number. The film is doing reasonably well in the metros although growth here was not optimum also but you can give it an excuse that SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME is there and that is taking some of the audience way in these parts.

The bigger problem for the film is the other centres and that includes big centres like Jaipur, Ludhiana, Surat, Amritsar, Bhopal and so on as these places which are more reflective of the all India business are just not collecting well. The dubbed version seems to have had some good growth.

The best performing circuit post pandemic is Gujarat and '83 failed to get growth on a national holiday here from a low start. On the other hand, both PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) and SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME went up 50% and 80% respectively. The writing is pretty much on the wall for this film and it needs to so something extraordinary over the next two days if it to have any chance of a decent run.
