Sooryavanshi Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar's Film Crosses Rs 50 Crore Mark

Box Office India Trade Network

SOORYAVANSHI had a superb hold on Saturday with collections dropping less than 10%. The film has collected around 24-24.50 crore nett with centres in North and Central belts dropping the most. The Mumbai circuit is expected to hold again near the 10 crore nett range but if it can get some growth, then its possible the all India number of SOORYAVANSHI can go a little higher.

The two day numbers of the film has crossed 50 crore nett and its seeing a trend very similar to GOLMAAL AGAIN which was a Diwali release a few years ago and also released on the big Diwali holiday. The numbers are at a lower level compared to GOLMAAL AGAIN but that is mainly due to the market issues at present and the pandemic affect. GOLMAAL AGAIN did 30 crore nett on Friday, 28.50 crore nett on Saturday and 29 crore nett on Sunday. The trend is practically ditto here just with lower collections.

There should be growth on Sunday but it wont the huge 25-30% growth we get on a normal Sunday for mass films as its holiday period. If it can even be a little higher than Saturday that would be great.  Getting near day one would be extraordinary.

The film continued its phenomenal run in Gujarat/Saurashtra on Saturday and the final collections in the circuit may well be a little higher than Friday.

The apprx two day collections of SOORYAVANSHI are as follows.
Friday - 26,00,00,000
Saturday - 24,25,00,000
TOTAL - 50,25,00,000
