On Thursday, it was reported that Randhir Kapoor and five of his staff members had tested positive for Coronavirus, after which they were admitted to a Mumbai hospital. Talking about his diagnosis, Randhir had said, “I have no clue how I got COVID. I am surprised. My entire staff of five members, too, has tested positive, and I have got them hospitalised with me.”

The actor, who has received both doses of the COVID vaccine, added, “I felt some shivering and decided that it is better to be safe, hence I underwent the test. But overall I am in no discomfort. I have no major problem. I am not breathless and did not need an ICU or oxygen support either. I had a bit of fever but that is gone now.”

However, Randhir was later shifted to the ICU for more tests. “I have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to do some further tests. The hospital is taking very good care of me. They are going all out for me,” he said yesterday morning. Randhir also revealed that his wife Babita and daughters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were also tested, and their reports came negative.
