On Tuesday evening, fans of singer-songwriter Lucky Ali went into a tizzy when a rumour of his demise started doing the rounds on social media. Soon, condolence messages started surfacing, while many did state the news seemed fake. The singer’s friend Nafisa Ali took to Twitter to dispel the rumour. We reached out to the singer and his team, who assured us that all is well, and he is at his Bengaluru farm along with his family.

Talking to us briefly, Lucky said, “I’m resting in peace at home with my family, and I’m praying for everyone’s safety and well-being.”

The statement put all rumours to rest and his fans could breathe a sigh of relief. When we asked Lucky if he has any idea about why and how the rumour started, he said that he didn’t know who started the rumour, but he finds it funny. On the work front, the singer plans to release a bunch of new singles this year.
