GODZILLA VS. KONG saw a drop in collections post the Holi holiday as it
collected 2.50-2.75 crore nett which takes it seven day total to around
35 crore nett. The film is probably looking at a 39-40 crore nett
week one which is a very good number.
The film had dropped in South on Monday but the Holi holiday held the
film up as the Hindi circuits saw the best day for the film since
release. The collections dropped in Hindi circuits on Tuesday as
well. Normally the drop would be less as the Holi holiday extended for a
few days in some states but the problem here is a Hollywood film gets
limited release in these states and on top a lot of cinemas remain shut
in these areas. The ratio of business coming from the South is now much
less than what it was over the weekend.
The seven day collections of GODZILLA VS. KONG are as follows.
Wednesday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 34,75,00,000 apprx
