GODZILLA VS. KONG did well on Monday as it collected 4 crore nett taking
its six day total to 32.25 crore nett apprx. The drop in business for
the film came in the South though collections still remain pretty good.
Overall the collections were pretty much similar to the collections on
Friday. The Hindi circuits saw the best day since the film was released
as collections in most centres jumped due to the holiday for Holi.
Despite the jump, the collections are still far lower than they should
be. If Hindi circuits were performing, it would have been a huge Monday
for the film due to Holi.
GODZILLA VS. KONG saw around 50% of the business coming from Hindi
circuits on Monday as compared to the 30-35% on the first five days. It
should remain steady in some markets of the Hindi belt over the next few
days but collections are very limited from these areas for the film.
The film may collect a little over 40 crore nett for its extended nine
day first week.
The six day collections of GODZILLA VS. KONG are as
follows.
Wednesday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Monday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 32,25,00,000 apprx
