Aamir Khan’s perfectionist streak is legendary in industry circles — if he has given his nod to a project, you can expect him to dive deep into the film’s universe. The unit of Koi Jaane Na got a taste of this when the actor shot for a special dance number. Thrilled to make a cameo in director friend Amin Hajee’s directorial debut, Khan went a step ahead and decided to style himself for the track. 

A source close to the actor reveals, “Aamir is known to give his own touch to every project he takes up. When he understood the plot point and the purpose of the song in Koi Jaane Na, he suggested a hipster look. He curated a look that had a casual vibe, complete with lots of accessories. Amin completely trusts the actor’s creative decisions, and instantly approved the look.”

Khan and Hajee have been close friends over the past two decades, having shared screen space in Lagaan (2001) and Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005). The superstar had halted the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha in January and winged his way to Jaipur to film the track with Elli AvrRam.
