Actor Amyra Dastur has not only joined the list of actors who got back to work amid the pandemic, but is now also among those who battled Coronavirus and emerged victorious.

Talking about the same, Dastur reveals that she had fluctuating fever and severe body pain from November 13, and two days later, decided to get herself tested.

“My sugar level dropped severely and I was very weak during my quarantine period, so drinking juices really helped me regain my energy. The first three days of my infection were the hardest. The body pain was unbearable. I could not get out of my bed for two whole days,” says the actor who, after recovering completely, donated fruit juice to Covid-19 warriors at a hospital in Mumbai.

What helped her overcome the virus, Dastur reveals, was her fitness routine. “I have always been a fitness freak, so pain and soreness has never been an issue for me. But, this was really something else. Luckily, I was fine after the fifth day from testing positive,” shares the 27-year-old, who has been working and shooting in Chennai as well as in Mumbai throughout the pandemic.
