Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza are one of the most fun couples in B-town, and their chemistry was evident during a guest turn on The Kapil Sharma Show. The duo began dating in 2003 after their debut film, Tujhe Meri Kasam, and a year later, were cast together in Indra Kumar’s Masti. The film had a wedding sequence which, they admit, felt a little unreal back then. “But telling ourselves that who knows where the future might take us, we just enjoyed every bit of it,” laughed Genelia with her husband, admitting that, like in the film, he still takes allowance from her. “She has earned more than me and I am proud of it. So, I don’t mind asking her for a monthly salary,” he shared.

The couple further revealed that they have cute nicknames for each other. Riteish calls Genelia, Genee, while she calls him Dholu. The actress, who had taken a break from acting to raise their kids, a few years ago, stated that she is set to get back to work now. “When I had children, I thought I should give them the right attention. Now, I feel that they have reached an age where they don’t want me around all the time as they have their own friends and a full day of school. So, slowly, I can start doing some work,” she concluded.
