Actress Rashmi Jha is pleased with the response garnered by the rehashed number “Khudkhushi” that released recently. “It’s been a delightful experience working for the song which has not only turned out well, but also added a renewed feel to the old version. It has also created a buzz among the young generation and I’ve received encouraging and heartening feedback from my fans,” she beams.

The actress was recently seen in the reality show Ace Of Space 2 (AOS2), in which she was among the finalists. Educing her experience, Rashmi says, “Though the tasks were challenging at times and the pressure levels were high, the overall experience was overwhelming.” Addressing the controversy of reality shows being scripted, she says, “I don’t know about other shows but AOS2 was definitely not scripted.” Quiz her about participating in other reality shows and she promptly says, “It’s a scary feeling. I don’t know whether I am ready for it now as I have just done a reality show.”

Rashmi began her career as a model, after which she went on to play a strong role in the film Indu Sarkar. She has also done the music album, Raja Ko Rani Se apart from having several promotional features to her credit. She believes recreating old songs is a very good idea to acquaint the young generation about the hit numbers as most of them are topping up the charts, which proves that audiences actually love the concept.

While she believes in exploring diverse mediums and formats as an actor, she’s also working on some concepts of music videos and even planning to launch her own channel on a video-sharing platform to create interesting content for viewers that will also create buzz on social media platforms. She sums up saying, “Believe in yourself and never give up,” which is also the philosophy she lives by.
