The Coronavirus scare has resulted in schools shutting down across the country. However, Sanjay Gupta’s son, Shivaansh, was continuing with his classes, online. “Since the onset of this disease, the school had alerted us about the possibility of virtual classes, prepared the students and the parents for it. In this scenario, with many kids falling behind on their studies, we are fortunate the school took this initiative,” says the relieved filmmaker.

His seven-year-old daughter Dalai is in the first grade and nine-year-old son is in class three. Concerned about their safety, he has moved with his family to his farmhouse in Khandala for the time being. “From next week, their spring break starts, but till then, they are getting their lessons virtually and researching their homework on the internet. The benefits of technology,” he laughs.
