MALANG collected 7.75 crore nett in its second weekend which is fair collections but considering the low first weekend and the Valentines Day boost on Friday it needed to get double digits then it would have been a good second weekend. That would have meant a 55-60 crore nett lifetime while now it will have to settle for 50-55 crore nett.

Its still a decent result for the makers to get over 50 crore nett with this cast and this genre which needs face value and the 30 crore worldwide theatrical share needed for recovery may just happen. But if the budget was as per the face value, then this film would have been through in the first weekend itself. A 50 crore nett plus lifetime number looked impossible considering the sort of opening it took on its first Friday morning.

SHIKARA just crashed out in its second weekend with collections of only 60 lakhs nett. the film will not even collect 1 crore nett in its first weekend. The film got no benefit of Valentines Day probably because mainly on late shows and then trended normally over the weekend. The lifetime business of the film will be around 7 crore nett.
