MALANG did pretty well on Saturday as it jumped around 30% to collect 8.25-8.50 crore nett Saturday which takes the total of the film to around 14.75 crore nett. Its a decent jump for a action/thriller film though 50-60% would be optimum as the start could have been better.

The mass markets and single screens did not drop so that is a plus for the film. But it needs to have  a big jump on Sunday and if it can jump in the same range as Saturday, then it will have pretty good collections on Sunday and a good weekend trend. The film is doing best in Nizam/Andhra which has collected over 90 lakhs in day two while CP Berar which is a circuit with a similar ratio is just 60 lakh nett. The film will depend on Monday as even a good Sunday does not mean the film will hold on Monday.

SHIKARA showed growth of 50% which is probably not good enough for the film as it it really had to double up on Saturday to be in with a chance of Monday being higher than the Friday number.
