There were a few films released this week with three Hindi films though only one film JAWAANI JAANEMAN had some awareness and this reflected in the collections. This urban rom com set in Overseas did show an up trend post 2 pm to collect in the 2.75-3 crore nett range but it does not mean much and its about big growth on Saturday and Sunday and then a strong hold on Monday.

The collections are better than the last Saif Ali Khan film LAAL KAPTAAN but that hardly looked a film and only god knows what that was. The film before LAAL KAPTAAN was BAAZAAR (2018) which opened in the same range as JAWAANI JAANEMAN so this film has to trend much better than BAAZAAR as that film did not do well at all.

There were a few other releases in Hindi and from Hollywood and the collections are as follows.
Bad Boys For Life: 1-1.1 crore
Jojo Rabbit: - 12-15 lakhs
Happy Hardy And Heer: 8-10 lakhs
Gul Makai: 4-5 lakhs
