The rumoured exes recently reunited for a TV show

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, who were rumoured to be a couple a while ago and share screen space for the first time in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming directorial, the Love Aaj Kal reboot, recently reunited for a guest appearance on the singing reality show, Indian Idol 11.

During the episode, the duo was floored by contestant Rohit Raut’s rendition of the Kabir Singh song “Bekhayali”. Along with judge Himesh Reshammiya, they hailed it as the ‘best performance of the day’. In keeping with the tone of the love song, Kartik went on to reveal that in school, he used to do homework for his first crush.

Taking a cue from the revelation, host Aditya Narayan invited the actor to play the Game of Truths with Sara, during which Kartik confided that he can’t stay friends with his ex. His co-star, on the other hand, said she doesn’t have such reservations.

Kartik also mentioned that he doesn’t want to get married right now as he is busy with work. Sara quipped, “You are ready for a relationship but not marriage?”
