GOOD NEWWZ held up very well on Monday as it picked up 13 crore nett with a drop of only 25%. The film could have done better if ticket rates were held at weekend rates as its mainly a big multiplex film and with this audience higher weekend rates till Wednesday would not have decreased the footfalls. The film could have added 10-15% to its collections.

The total collections of the film are now a solid 78 crore nett and it is pretty much sure to be a HIT even if collections come down post the holiday period. The film should do well over New Years Eve and New Years Day and the week could be around 120 crore nett or even higher. This will be higher than the first week of DABANGG 3 despite having a lower start than that film.
