The Hollywood War film 1917 has trended well at the box office for around ten days as the second weekend numbers were similar to the first weekend. The film is mainly being screened at the premium multiplexes in metros and was released on around 150 screens and it maintained these screens into week two despite the new Hindi releases.
The collections of the films are as follows.
First Weekend - 1,94,00,000
First Week - 3,37,00,000
Second Weekend - 1,86,00,000 (-4%)
TOTAL - 5,23,00,000 (10 days)
The main business of the film has come from Mumbai, Delhi NCR and South with these regions giving almost 90% of the all India collections. The film has maintained well over ten days but eventually there are limited footfalls in India for these type of films even in the metros. So it will be tough to keep going even at these low collections as the audience is so limited.
