Sanjay Dutt was at his candid best during his recent guest turn on Kapil Sharma’s show. The actor, who went there to promote his upcoming film Panipat, along with co-actor Kriti Sanon and filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, opened up about his time behind bars and revealed how he used to work day and night shifts to get his prison term reduced. The actor, who has already had a release this year, will be seen as the antagonist in the period drama.

When the comedian-host prodded him on the number of girlfriends he’s had, as documented in his biopic Sanju that released last year, he quipped that he has to still keep count as the journey continues. Amidst much laughter, the actor went on to add that he was so impressed by co-star Kriti’s performance that she could easily be his 309th girlfriend.
