PAGALPANTI dropped 50% on Monday which is the normal drop but as it was coming from a 5 crore crore nett only, it means the film is gone and will emerge a big flop. The film picked up 2.50 crore nett on Monday and has a four day total of 22 crore nett.

The first week business of this film will be 28-29 crore nett which is very poor and there will not be much coming after the first week making the 40 crore nett mark an uphill task for the film. There are around 40-50 releases a year which have good awareness among the public and the potential to get an audience and although most of these do not do well theatrically, very few loose money. This is because of satellite and digital but PAGALPANTI is one of those few which will loose money. A few years back this film would be loosing around 40-50 crore but due to higher revenues from satellite and digital today, it will lose half of what it would have a few years back.

The week is heading for a total of around 24-25 crore nett and then it should do well on Saturday and Sunday. So there is a good chance that the film will do around 35 crore nett which is a good result for an animation film.
