On Sunday, Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary won the celebrity couples dance reality show, Nach Baliye 9. With the win, the former has become the only person in Indian TV history to claim top prize in all four reality shows he has participated.

When asked which show is on his list next, Prince jokes, “I don’t think any show will approach me now.” Coincidentally, the couple started their respective showbiz journeys with reality shows—him as one of the Roadies in 2015 and his now-wife as an aspiring actress on a talent hunt show, India's Best Cine Stars Ki Khoj, in 2004—before they met and fell in love as fellow inmates on Bigg Boss three years ago and tied the knot last year. “Shows like these are stepping stones for an outsider. Fortunately, it has been so both professionally and personally for us,” Yuvika smiles.

They hail their journey on the show as a “once in a lifetime experience”. “We were huge fans of Raveena Tandon before, but we fell more in love with her during the show,” Prince asserts. Point out that some contestants had issues with her and Ahmed Khan’s judging, and he says, “We thought the judges were fair, motivating and guiding everyone. If anyone had complaints, it’s their problem.”

Prince goes on to reveal that he had two left feet before the show, but his dancing abilities have improved since. But it was in week three, when they figured they could win. “For Govinda sir's appearance, we performed a dance piece of four-and-a-half minutes and he called us 'dancers'. That’s when we knew we couldn’t lose,” Prince beams.

When asked about their plans for the prize money, Prince says that he donates a part of all his winnings to NGOs for underprivileged kids. “Apart from that, we are going to use it to enjoy ourselves with a vacation in London after a family trip to Chandigarh, and then a trip to Switzerland that we won on the show,” the couple reveals.
