BALA had excellent collections of 15 crore nett on day two with growth of nearly 60%. The collections are a little lower than earlier estimates as some cities were closed in UP, Rajasthan and MP due to the Ayodhya decision. It took the biggest hit in Bhopal which was practically all shut on Saturday.

Still the growth is very good and it has 24.50 crore nett total in two days and should emerge a HIT as long as Monday holds. The collections are a little lower than DREAM GIRL but its really about what happens from Monday onwards when comparing the two films. The best growth for the film came in Bangalore and Pune where collections almost doubled while the film could have probably done better in East and East Punjab especially the latter as its a multiplex circuit.
