Actor Karan Singh Grover has recently finished 15 years in the entertainment industry. Karan, who started his acting career with Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi (2004), became a household name with television soaps such as Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai. Looking back at his “delightful” journey, he fondly says, “My fifteen years in the industry have been quite eventful. I learnt so much and I’m still learning. I’ve had no strategy as such. From an artiste’s point of view, you’ve to make sure that you do your best in everything, regardless of the medium.”
Ask him about his biggest turning point, and the 37-year-old actor excitedly shares, “Meeting Bipasha and being with her has been a huge turning point for me.”
Karan and Bipasha Basu Singh Grover, who met on the sets of their 2015 film Alone, tied the knot in 2016. They celebrated their three year anniversary recently and Karan couldn’t help but sing praises of his lady love. “Being married to her is a blessing. She’s the kind of person who takes care of everyone’s needs before they even know that they need it. She has a big heart. Just being around her has changed me. She makes you want to connect with yourself. I feel I’m a better person now,” he smiles.
Marriage, however, hasn’t stopped his female fans from showering him with love and adulation. “If my female fan following is growing by the minute, it’s a great achievement. Bipasha and I checked the insights on my Instagram. We found out that the ratio of the male and female followers on my handle is 50:50, which is awesome. To get such unconditional love from people who don’t know you personally is a gift from God,” says a flattered Karan.
