SAAHO (Hindi) got benefit of Muharram as it grossed 3 crore nett on its second Tuesday. This takes the second week number to almost 20 crore nett in five days and it should be able to add another 4 crore nett in the next two days for a second week total of 24 crore nett apprx.

The business so far is almost 135 crore nett which makes it the 7th highest NETT grosser of the year so far. It probably has a chance to finish one place higher though it must be noted that the business is coming without the South markets and most of the circuit numbers are higher than the likes of SUPER 30 and TOTAL DHAMAAL.

SAAHO is heading for a second week total of around 34-35 crore nett and the Hindi version will be contributing over 65% of the collections. The film saw huge falls in the South and now stands at around 282 crore nett. The film will probably fall short of 300 crore nett and finish with a similar total to PADMAAVAT (2018) which was 295 crore nett in all formats.

The film will have a worldwide theatrical recovery of around 220-225 crore and other revenue from digital, satellite and music will be around 150 crore for a total recovery of 375 crore which is huge. The makers sold the film at huge prices in the South which meant they were in the plus on release but this plus added to the plus from Hindi markets is what the distributors who paid those prices in the South will lose.
