BATLA HOUSE did well on Saturday as it collected 9.50 crore nett to take its three day total to 31.50 crore nett. The film showed growth of around 30% on Saturday which is good especially as its not the second day but the third day.
The three day business is a little short of SATYAMEVA JAYATE which did 35 crore nett over the first three days last year but this is mainly because of the first day and the film is actually trending better than that film. The business in Maharashtra, Nizam/Andhra and CP, CI is less than SATYAMEVA JAYATE but in Mumbai city, Pune, Delhi and Bangalore the numbers are on par or more.
The Monday number is crucial for this film and looking at the trend at multiplexes there is a chance that the film can have a good hold at multiplexes and then can benefit with the clean run till end of August.
The first three day figures of BATLA HOUSE are as follows.
Thursday - 14,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 9,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 31,50,00,000 apprx
The film has grossed around 10.50 crore nett in Mumbai circuit and around 8.50 crore nett in Delhi/UP circuit so far.
