Batla House Box Office Collection Day 2: John Abraham's Film Faces 'Normal Decline'
Box Office India Trade Network

BATLA HOUSE had a decent second day of 7.50 crore nett which is a drop of around 50% from the first day and can be called normal trending. The collections should be a little higher but still these are decent results as long as the film gains good momentum on Saturday and Sunday.

The film had its best performance in UP single screens on the first day as some of these were on par with MISSION MANGAL and the biggest fall is here possibly as its after the holiday. The multiplexes have generally fallen in the 45% range.

The film could have done with better business in Mumbai circuit as the figures are noticeably lower than SATYAMEVA JAYATE in Mumbai but the film is looking to do better than that film in Delhi/UP. The film really needs a solid Monday and that will be the key if the film is to succeed.

The two day figures of BATLA HOUSE are as follows.
Thursday - 14,50,00,000 apprx
Friday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 22,00,00,000 apprx

The second day numbers of BATLA HOUSE are actually better than the second day numbers of SATYAMEVA JAYATE but the fact it is a Friday rather than a Thursday which was the case for SATYAMEVA JAYATE makes a little difference.

The overall two day numbers are around 4 crore nett less than SATYAMEVA JAYATE.
