ARTICLE 15 was affected by the cricket match as it collected 7.50-7.75 crore nett on Sunday. The film still managed to be higher than the Saturday number. The weekend is a little under 20 crore nett which is a decent result and it probably lost around 1 crore nett on Sunday. The KABIR SINGH wave probably hit the film also as that film is first choice even in the metros where ARTICLE 15 is best.
The weekdays will tell more about this film and where it can go. The film could have have stronger numbers in Delhi/UP than Mumbai circuit in the long run.
The collections of ARTICLE 15 for the first three days are as follows.
Friday - 4,75,00,000
Saturday - 7,25,00,000
Sunday - 7,75,00,000
TOTAL - 19,75,00,000 apprx
ANNABELLE COMES HOME had a low extended weekend of 18.25 crore nett and is unlikely to do well at the box office. The film fetched a big MG (Minimum Guarantee) as the previous films have done well but has no chance to cover the MG.
The four day figures for ANNABELLE COMES HOME are as follows.
Thursday - 3,25,00,000 apprx
Friday - 4,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 5,75,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 18,25,00,000 apprx
