Saif Ali Khan has kick-started the shoot of his upcoming flick Jawaani Jaaneman. The cast and crew are currently in London for the filming of the slice-of-life movie, which marks the debut of Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia F. On June 16, Saif and Alaia were spotted cheering for India in the World Cup cricket match against Pakistan. The Nawab of Pataudi’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their son Taimur were also seen rooting for the Indian team.
However, our sources inform us that the diva, who is in the UK capital currently, is there not just for a vacation. Apparently, she is also a part of Jawaani Jaaneman, albeit in a special appearance. “Kareena has a prominent cameo in the narrative. She will most likely play Saif’s ex-girlfriend/ex-wife,” a reliable source confirms. After Happy Ending (2014), this is the second time she will have a cameo in her hubby’s project.
The stylish couple was seen together in a full-fledged appearance in the 2012 action thriller Agent Vinod. We reached out to Kareena’s representative, but they chose not to comment.
Tabu, too, has a pivotal part in Jawaani Jaaneman. In the movie, Saif essays the role of a man in his late 40s who refuses to grow up and has a carefree attitude towards life. Soon, he finds out that he has a teenage daughter, played by Alaia. The unmarried, accidental dad’s life changes post this revelation.
Kareena has some interesting projects lined up. She will share screen space with Irrfan in Angrezi Medium in which she will play a cop for the first time. Her other movies include Good News, starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Johar’s Takht.
