KABIR SINGH had a phenomenal second Friday as it collected 11.50 crore nett apprx. The film has dropped just 15% from Thursday and is 43% down from the first day which is excellent trending. The second Friday is easily the biggest of the year beating URI  which was a little under 8 crore nett. AVENGERS: ENDGAME had collected 11.80 crore nett on its second Friday but KABIR SINGH will soon start beating the numbers of that film as it has better trending.

The collections of the film till date are nearly 144 crore nett. The second Friday confirms KABIR SINGH as the biggest HIT of the year making it two blockbuster films in 2019. The film is rock steady all over the country especially multiplexes outside the metros. The multiplexes in places like Jaipur, Kanpur, Nagpur, Indore are recording crazy numbers. The business from single screens could have been a little better if we compare ratios with other universal blockbusters but the film does not have a top star and is not an action film.

The business of the film could go anywhere. The way the film has trended on the second Friday, you cant write off a 300 crore nett plus total. It is difficult but definitely possible if it continues to hold up like this over the next 2-3 weeks.
