KABIR SINGH grossed a huge 76.75 crore nett in week two taking its two week total to 210 crore nett apprx. The drop in the second week is just 42% which is excellent for a film which collected way over 100 crore nett in the first week.

The film is the biggest HIT of 2019 and now its about where the film can go. If the film continues this trend of 40-45% drops for the next few weeks then its reaching 300 crore nett but that is going to be unlikely with the cricket World Cup in its final stages and the weekdays in the second week were not as strong as the first week. This could mean a 50% plus drop in the third week and 275 crore nett is probably looking a realistic target for the film..

The second week numbers of KABIR SINGH are the seventh highest of all time after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION, DANGAL, PK, SANJU, BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN and TIGER ZINDA HAI. It comfortably beat the second week of PADMAAVAT which was 66.53 crore nett.

KABIR SINGH had an excellent Tuesday of 8.25 crore nett. The collections on Tuesday saw a normal drop and there was a cricket match going on. So the real value of the Tuesday number could be a little higher. It could also be that the cricket match hardly made a difference as ARTICLE 15 also did not see much of a drop in collections on Tuesday.

KABIR SINGH has collected 196 crore nett till date and today it will become the most watched Hindi film in the theatres as it crosses the footfalls of URI. The footfalls of AVENGERS: ENDGAME will be crossed sometime in the third week. The second week is looking at business of around 77-78 crore nett which will mean a two week number of around 210 crore nett.

The drop in the second week is looking 42% and if this is repeated in week three, this film will be heading towards the 300 crore nett mark. But though the film is going strong it is a tough ask to be as steady in week three as for one there will be a drop at some point and secondly there will be huge cricket match on one of its third week days which will hit it hard. The 275 crore nett mark looks a very realistic target for the film.

KABIR SINGH crossed the 200 crore nett mark on Wednesday and also become the most watched film in theatres of 2019 as it crossed the footfalls of URI in just 13 days. But the second Wednesday also probably saw the first noticeable drop. The drop is actually pretty normal but considering how this film has gone, it looks a drop.

The film has reached a 203 crore nett total so far in thirteen days and the two week number will be 209-210 crore nett and after two weeks it will also cross the 103 crore distributor share of BHARAT, making KABIR SINGH the film with the highest distributor share in 2019.

The 12-13% drop on Wednesday probably puts the 300 crore nett number out of reach with the target now being 275 crore nett and total of PADMAAVAT.

KABIR SINGH remains super strong with 9 crore nett apprx coming on its second Monday taking the 11 day total to 188 crore nett apprx. The second week should be around 77-78 crore nett but there is a cricket match today (Tuesday) so that could take the collections down a little on Tuesday.

The second week will be the highest of the year beating the 62.76 crore nett of URI and beating the 66 crore nett odd for PADMAAVAT which was the best for a Shahid Kapoor starrer prior to KABIR SINGH. It will be the seventh highest second week of all time.

The film will continue to break records of many films in the days to come and the final target is looking to beat the business and footfalls of PADMAAVAT to become the most watched and highest NETT grosser of Shahid Kapoor.

The film became the highest grosser in Rajasthan and CI on Monday. It had become the highest grosser in CP Berar on Sunday. BHARAT was top in these 3 circuits but has been beaten in just 10-11 days.

KABIR SINGH was affected by the big cricket match on Sunday though the film still managed to get some decent growth of a little under 10%. The film collected around 17.75 crore nett on Sunday though if there was no match, it could have crossed 20 crore nett.

The film has now taken its total to almost 179 crore nett in just ten days and is still going very strong. The drop is just 35% in the second weekend with the cricket match affecting on Sunday. Otherwise it could have been 30-32%. Either way it is phenomenal trend for a film which had a big first week.

The drop is 35% in the second weekend but even if we take weekly drops of 40-45% then the film is crossing 300 crore nett. The problem will be that there will be stronger competition in the weeks to come and the cricket could really hit badly in the third and fourth weeks.

KABIR SINGH collected a huge 16.25 crore nett on Saturday taking its two day second weekend total to 28 crore nett. The film is on course easily being being the best second week performer this year if we count Hindi films. It could also beat AVENGERS: ENDGAME which is the best performer from all films.

The film has take its total to 160 crore nett and is sure to cross 200 crore nett before the week is out. The only thing that will affect the film is the cricket matches especially as the very important matches come the week after next.

In some circuits, the film is going to become the highest grossing film of 2019 in just two weeks. The footfalls of this film are huge and are sure to be more than AVENGERS: ENDGAME which grossed 367 crore nett but on very ATP (Average Ticket Price).

KABIR SINGH had a phenomenal second Friday as it collected 11.50 crore nett apprx. The film has dropped just 15% from Thursday and is 43% down from the first day which is excellent trending. The second Friday is easily the biggest of the year beating URI  which was a little under 8 crore nett. AVENGERS: ENDGAME had collected 11.80 crore nett on its second Friday but KABIR SINGH will soon start beating the numbers of that film as it has better trending.

The collections of the film till date are nearly 144 crore nett. The second Friday confirms KABIR SINGH as the biggest HIT of the year making it two blockbuster films in 2019. The film is rock steady all over the country especially multiplexes outside the metros. The multiplexes in places like Jaipur, Kanpur, Nagpur, Indore are recording crazy numbers. The business from single screens could have been a little better if we compare ratios with other universal blockbusters but the film does not have a top star and is not an action film.

The business of the film could go anywhere. The way the film has trended on the second Friday, you cant write off a 300 crore nett plus total. It is difficult but definitely possible if it continues to hold up like this over the next 2-3 weeks.
