ALADDIN did well in its first weekend picking up well on Saturday to record collections of 18 crore nett. This is more than the two new Hindi releases INDIA'S MOST WANTED and PM NARENDRA MODI combined. The film will be dependent on how well it can hold over the weekdays. The film had strong collections in the South with Nizam/Andhra, Mysore/Karnataka and Tamil Nadu putting up good numbers.
The collections of ALADDIN over the first weekend are as follows.
Friday - 4,15,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 7,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 17,85,00,000 apprx
PM NARENDRA MODI has a poor first weekend with collections a little under 10 crore nett but the Sunday numbers were reasonable in some areas. The film still has a chance if Monday can record figure similar to Friday.
The collections of PM NARENDRA MODI till date are as follows.
Friday - 2,35,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 4,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 9,60,00,000 apprx
INDIA'S MOST WANTED is very poor with low collections and the pick up over the weekend was very limited. It has the lowest first weekend collections for a 1000 screen plus release barring WHY CHEAT INDIA and AMAVAS
The collections of INDIA'S MOST WANTED till date are as follows.
Friday - 1,85,00,000
Saturday - 2,50,00,000
Sunday - 3,00,00,000
TOTAL - 7,35,00,000 apprx
