A reality show will see the actor indulge in some banter and dumb charades for a segment

Over the weekend, Varun Dhawan takes on a new role on camera. The 31-year-old actor, who is up for a guest turn on the singling reality show Rising Star 3, which has musicians Shankar Mahadevan, Diljit Dosanjh and Neeti Mohan on its judges’ panel, will be taking over the hosting duties for the episode.

According to a source close to the development, the actor will anchor a segment with Aditya Narayan. “It will have the duo indulge in some banter. Aditya and Varun will also play some dumb charades with each other but with a twist. Judge Neeti who has given playback for Varun and Kiara (Advani’s) song ‘First Class’ in the film (Kalank) will croon it with the three actors shaking a leg,” the source added.

Varun’s co-star Alia Bhatt, who will be present alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, is also expected to perform on “Ghar More Pardesiya”.
