THE TASHKENT FILES is sustaining well at the box office with second week collections likely to be more than the first week. The collections are only 6 crore nett but the achievement here has more respect than other small films. These small films only cater to a limited metro audience and for collections the media and reviewers in the bigger publications have to be on their side as this segment of the audience does get influenced.

Not only small films but even bigger films aimed at metro audience know the media has to be on their side. Surprisingly this film has not got those 4 or 5 star reviews or media support but is still maintaining better than the films that do get them.

The films looks like running well for a few weeks as its doing the business solely on actual word of mouth and it should maintain with even with the release of AVENGERS: ENDGAME.
