Karan Johar comes armed with fiery revelations on Kapil Sharma’s show; Kajol calls him ‘show-off’ guy

After putting his guests on the spot with trick questions on his show, Karan Johar was armed for comedian’s salvo during his turn with bestie Kajol on The Kapil Sharma Show. Presented with a scenario in which he becomes the Prime Minister of Bollywood, KJo was asked to name people to whom he would give key portfolios in his cabinet.

He started off with the ‘Health Ministry’ which, he said, would go to Akshay Kumar as the actor “is the fittest person in the industry”. Varun Dhawan would get ‘Ministry of Social Media’. “I know his handles are managed by him and not his team. I can tell from the grammatical mistakes he makes,” KJo added in a lighter vein.

Kareena Kapoor was a no-brainer for ‘Minister of Gossip Affairs’. KJo revealed why, saying, “She wakes up and calls her PR team for the day’s gossip. Then, she calls me up to confirm them. If we need to broadcast the news, we should give it to Ranbir (Kapoor). He’ll have it published in the papers in two days.”

Moving on, he said ‘Ministry of Fashion’ would go to Bollywood’s resident clothes horse Sonam Kapoor, and that he would keep the ‘House Party Minister’ profile for himself.

“I can handle this,” Karan, who is widely regarded as one of the best hosts in B-Town, asserted.

When Kajol cheekily pointed at him for the ‘Show Off Minister’, her filmmaker BFF quipped, “Am I a show-off? I am so down to earth that I am talking to you.” Touche.
