URI had another record breaking week as it collected 6.25 crore nett. It now holds ALL TIME RECORDS for week four, week five, week six and week seven. This week saw the collections get a boost when the tensions between India and Pakistan heightened on Tuesday and the weekdays held at those levels.

The film beat the seventh week record of GADAR - EK PREM KATHA which was 4.96 crore nett. The collections so far for the film are 237 crore nett and it will beat the collections of the New Year SIMMBA in time to be in the top ten NETT grossers of all time.

The drop in the seventh week is 46% which is the highest in its run so far but that was mainly due to the competition from TOTAL DHAMAAL.

URI had another huge week as it collected 3.75 crore nett apprx taking the eight week total to 241 crore nett. The film has crossed the NETT collections of SIMMBA to become the tenth highest NETT grosser ever but will not cross the share, gross or footfalls of SIMMBA. The film had lower ticket rates at multiplexes as SIMMBA was a festive release but the ratio of business from mass centers is more for SIMMBA so there is a 10 lakh difference in footfalls in favour of SIMMBA.

URI became the the tenth highest NETT grosser ever as it crosed the figures of SIMMBA on Monday. The main difference between URI and SIMMBA is the business in South India where Uri - The Surgical Strike will probably finish 25 crore nett higher. In other circuits SIMMBA is ahead.

URI slowed in the ninth compared to what it had been doing before but still the ninth week collections are far ahead of any major release in the last ten years. You have to go back to CHAK DE INDIA for the last film which collected over 1 crore nett in week nine. The ninth week was still among the top five of all time. The film collected 1.85 crore nett and took its nine week total to 243 crore nett.
