URI remained rock steady with business of 6.25-6.50 crore nett on its second Tuesday. This has taken the business of the film to 122 crore nett plus. The second week stands at a huge 51 crore nett so far with two more days left. It should end at around 62-62 crore nett which will less than 15% down from the first week.

The film has crossed 45 crore nett in Mumbai which is an insane number for a patriotic film which tend to out perform in the North. The business in Delhi/UP is around 24 crore nett which is also very good but no comparison to Mumbai. The other strong markets are West Bengal and Mysore which have crossed 6 and 7 crore nett respectively. The latter started a bit slow but has really come on in the second week as week two will do around 30-35% more business than the first week.

The 200 crore nett mark is not out of the question and it will be Friday that will be the test to see if it remains in the race for 200 crore nett or not. If the film trends like last Friday then its a sure shot for 200 crore nett but with big competition it will be much tougher this week.
